Jr. NTR on 25 Years of stardom: “My fans are a blessing from previous births”
Jr. NTR, often referred to as the “Man of the Masses,” is a popular actor with a strong fan following. Known for his screen presence and charisma, he continues to draw admiration from audiences. This was evident at the recent War 2 event in his hometown of Hyderabad, where fans turned out in large numbers. YRF selected Hyderabad as the venue, considering Jr. NTR’s strong local popularity.
Hyderabad witnessed massive fan mania during Jr. NTR’s visit to the city. Overwhelmed by the fans’ reaction, the superstar also delivered a closing speech and said, “My career began 25 years ago with Ninnu Choodalani, introduced under the banner of the late Sri Ramoji Rao garu. On that opening day, I walked in alone, with just my father and mother by my side. The first fan I ever met was Mujeeb from Adoni. I asked him, “Who are you?” He said, “I am your fan, sir. I’d die for you.” Not a single movie of mine had released yet. From that day to today to see millions of fans walking this journey with me it’s a blessing from previous births.”
With War 2 releasing on August 14, Jr. NTR is lined up for major projects in 2025 and 2026. These include NTRXNeel, an action film directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel, scheduled for release on June 25, 2026, and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. The film is expected to showcase his range as an actor and his pan-India appeal. He is also set to work with Trivikram Srinivas on a large-scale mythological drama, portraying the role of Lord Kumara Swamy.
